How can one person be so inspiring and so freakin scary at the same time?
Jillian Michaels is not inspiring. She’s a bully. She humiliates people into working out when they are injured. She encourages unhealthy weight loss—in the world of TBL, losing 3 pounds in a week is a failure. In the real world, you shouldn’t lose more than that in a week because that much of a calorie deficit isn’t good for your body.
This show shouldn’t even be on the air. There are so many things wrong with it. It’s wrong that people are being influenced to think that they should adhere to such unrealistic weight loss expectations that, in the end, ruin a person’s health and mindset towards what it means to be healthy.

This show promotes using exercise as a form of purging which is awful and terrible and ALSO IT’S BULIMIA.

This show is disgusting. You should exercise because you love your body and because exercise is good for it, not to be thin. This show is scum.
I’ve literally never seen it, but I really don’t want to now, it looks horrible.I detest all things TBL. Yes, the contestants know what they are getting into when they sign up, but TBL trainers are encouraging the contestants and the viewers to lose weight in an extremely unhealthy way. No person should lose weight like this. And when the get ousted from the show, they put the weight back on because they aren’t keeping up with the ridiculous regime of dragging tractor tyres up hills etc. The trainers are bullies, they are bullying already fragile people who have probably been bullied and picked on their entire lives. They are not understanding or sympathetic, they don’t care. Not only that but it’s a media circus. ‘Mummy! Look at those fat people try! HA HA! THEY CAN’T DO IT! WATCH THEM FAIL!’ Please, for the love of all things worth loving, including yourself, do not buy into thus bull crap.
My body is so sore :(
I woke up starving and I made 3 eggs, avocado, feta cheese, all on 2 pieces of sprouted bread. And some green chili on the side. It’s my favorite meal when I’m sore.
The rest of the day:
2 Aussie bites
2 slices pineapple
1 Clif bar
1 bowl oatmeal with brown sugar and milk
2 slices cinnamon raisin sprouted toast with 1 tbsp peanut butter
1 1/4 cup tortilla/enchilada soup
1 fresh fruit smoothie
45 minutes stationary bike
I’m back for good. I was sick for a long time…back to back bronchitis. Finally I quit smoking and 3 weeks later I can finally almost breathe!
Went to the gym tonight and burned 900+ calories doing 45 minutes on the stationary bike. I’m sore but I feel great! Can’t wait to see how I feel this time next month! @
I found a new job! In 7 months I’ve gone from making $8.75/hr part time to $11/hr full time but found the place sucks and now I’ve finally found my first big girl job. $14/hr, 20 paid days off from day one, paid holidays (with the days off). In a few months I can finally move into a place of my own and feel like a real adult.

My first meal prep! I made hard boiled eggs as a snack. Baked chicken, jasmine rice, and frozen broccoli put in steamer bags. This is typically my dinner at work. Breakfast is always oatmeal. Lunch is usually a clif bar and my snacks are yogurt, eggs, and a banana. This will make life so much easier for me!
